Though my challenge has come to an end, I’m still continuing to meditate consistently! 2 times per day for 15 minutes and I love it.
I even like to add my spirituality at the end with all of my morning and evening prayers. What is my take away for the ending days of this challenge?
By demanding myself to post 3 times per week was way beyond my time management potential. I was exhausted by the second post! I even felt overwhelmed by social media in general.
Thus, I took a 2-week social media break.
Meditation made this easier. Whenever I felt the need to take a step away—I meditated and felt centered, yet again.
So my lesson is to always remember the reason to “why” you start a new regimen. When it gets tough, or when life pushes you to prioritize—having that “why” will make that decision easier for you… as it did for me.
My “why”: meditation strips my soul of toxic energy. This may sound romanticized, but that’s honestly how I feel. I decompress and slowly disconnect myself from expectations from others.
What is a self-care practice that centers you?
